About Us

House of Katachi designs architectural lighting for interiors that refuse to settle. Rooted in considered craft and spatial thinking, every lamp in our collection — from sculptural floor lamps to statement chandeliers — is designed to function as a spatial element rather than a decorative object. We work with architects, interior designers, and homeowners across India to bring lighting solutions that are honest in material, deliberate in form, and built to endure. All products are locally sourced and sustainably manufactured in India using wood, brass, PETG, and stainless steel.

Founder And Design Director

Sanyam Jain

House of Katachi began with the belief that the objects we live with should feel personal, meaningful, and quietly transformative. With a background in contemporary product design, the studio’s founder started creating forms that move away from mass ornamentation and toward intention. By combining modern 3D manufacturing with tactile materials such as wood, textiles, and natural finishes, each piece becomes sculptural yet warm.

The goal has always been simple: to shape spaces in a way that doesn’t just decorate them, but gently changes how they feel.

Values & Philosophy

  • Design with Intent

We value thoughtful design that respects space and function equally.

  • Harmony of Space and Light

We believe true beauty emerges when light and form work together.

  • Material Honesty

We honor materials for what they are. Texture, finish, and structure are never disguised, only refined.

Materials We Use

Our pieces are made using PETG, wood, brass, stainless steel, etc., with ongoing exploration into new materials and finishes.

Beyond the First Life

Our designs are created to last, to be repaired, and to return. When a product no longer fits your space or needs, you can send it back to us and we will thoughtfully renew it for its next chapter.
